History & Ethos

A warm welcome to all of our pupils and families, especially those of you who are new to Ballyduff National School. We hope you will have many happy days here in the years to come.

The present school building was first built in 1972 and served us well for many years. In 2008 it was refurbished and extended to accommodate our extra pupils and to provide for the implementation of the modern primary school curriculum. We now have nine mainstream classrooms, three special classrooms for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, P.E. hall and many ancillary rooms including a central activities area and a multi-sensory room. A well equipped soft playground and large playing pitches provide ample space for the children to play at break times.
