History & Ethos

A warm welcome to all of our pupils and families, especially those of you who are new to Ballyduff National School. We hope you will have many happy days here in the years to come.

The present school building was first built in 1972 and served us well for many years. Last year it is as refurbished and extended to accommodate our extra pupils and to provide for the implementation of the modern primary school curriculum. We now have six mainstream classrooms, three special classrooms for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, P.E. hall and many ancillary rooms including a central activities area and a multi-sensory room. A well equipped soft playground and large playing pitches provide ample space for the children to play at break times.

This year we launch our new school website. Here you can view the school calendar, keep track of upcoming events, browse through our photo gallery and see some of the work of the children throughout the year. You can also read about the work of the Parents Council and view school policies as they become available. We hope you will find the website interesting and useful and we look forward to hearing your comments in due course.

Go n-éirí libh sa bhliain seo chugainn!
