Sixth Class graduated on Tuesday 27th June. Fr.O’Byrne led their Graduation Mass. The children sung beautifully, read prayers and poems with confidence and made their parents and school very proud with their mature behaviour. The Parents Association worked very hard to make sure everyone had something to eat and drink afterwards in the school hall! Katie Burns showed a wonderful presentation of photos from their time in Ballyduff National School. Finally, the children were presented with FANTASTIC ‘Class of 2017’ hoodies! (And even the teacher got one too!!!!!! Thank you!!!!)
On Wednesday morning, Mr.Carey presented the boys who participated in Hurling matches during the year with medals. Ms.Bates also presented the girls with medals for their participation in Basketball. Well done everyone!
Sixth Class were a pleasure to work with and Ballyduff will miss their positive and vibrant personalities very much. I’m sure they will go on to become responsible, successful adults. I wish them all the best for the future with plenty of happiness in their lives! Enjoy your holidays boys and girls!
